PBH 220 - Environmental Health


Environmental Health examines the relationship of people to their environment and how it affects their physical and mental well-being. Students will explore health issues, with an emphasis on the specific components of the environment which influence health. Students will explore the environmental factors involved in transmission of communicable diseases and hazards due to exposure to chemical, physical, and biological agents in our environment. Emerging global environmental health issues will be explored, including global warming and food insecurity.
