BIO 135 - The Human Body: How It Works (S)

The Human Body: How It Works (S) will survey the structure (anatomy) and function (physiology) of the organ systems in the human body. The overriding theme of this course is keeping the body in balance (homeostasis). The role of socio-economic and racial /ethnic factors in human health will be discussed. This course is not appropriate for students entering a health care program.
