Program Description
The Secondary Education Associate of Arts degree is designed for students preparing to transfer to a four-year institution to obtain a baccalaureate degree. The program incorporates foundational coursework in teacher education, content coursework, and a field-based experience. The degree is for students who plan to enter secondary education (7th through 12th grade) or a prekindergarten through 12th grade content area such as art, health, music, physical education, or social studies. Students must consult with an advisor for course planning.
The computer literacy requirement will be met throughout the course work in the degree program.
