BUS 231 - Management of Human Resources Semester Offered: evening in spring only Management of Human Resources provides the student an opportunity to learn the fundamental concepts of human resource management and to apply those concepts to current management practices through appropriate management problem solving situations, projects, and case studies. Topics studied include, but are not limited to, equal employment opportunity, job requirements, human resources planning and recruitment, selection of personnel, career development, appraising and improving performance, compensation, incentives and employee benefits, safety and health concerns, labor relations and collective bargaining, and creating high performance work systems.
