MAT 203 - Multivariable Calculus (M)
Multivariable Calculus (M) introduces vectors and vector operations in 2 and 3-dimensional real space, calculus of space curves, partial differentiation and multiple integration of functions of several variables, vector calculus including line and surface integrals, and generalizations of the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus including Green’s Theorem, Stokes’ Theorem, and the Divergence Theorem. Knowledge of a computer algebra system is expanded. This course includes a required capstone project on a topic approved by the instructor which extends students’ mathematical knowledge beyond the material covered in class.

Prerequisite(s): C or better in MAT 202
