MAT 240 - Introduction to Linear Algebra (M)

Semester Offered: Fall Only
Introduction to Linear Algebra introduces the basic concepts of linear algebra: vector spaces, applications to line and plane geometry, linear equations and matrices, similar matrices, linear transformations, eigenvalues, determinants, and quadratic forms. A computer algebra system will be used.
Credits: 4
Prerequisite(s): Grade of C or better in MAT 202  or permission of the Math Department Chair
